Juice Review: Raw Pressery 100% Valencia Orange

It all started for me a few days ago when I added Raw Pressery’s Sugarcane juice to my shopping cart on Big Basket. It was slightly expensive than all the juices out there, but that didn’t matter to me as it was an impulsive buy. I like to sample new products every now and then. Well, the tall bottle of juice was chilled and sweating when it arrived. That’s usually a good thing with juices. You see if a brand it making an effort to transport a juice in a refrigerated environment, it usually means their product does not have preservatives.
Well, I tried it and it was really good. It was a flavor of juice which isn’t commonly bottled by companies. And having it at the roadside thelewala, while refreshing can be a health hazard at times. And the bottle was new and well designed. The cylindrical thick ribbed bottle stood out from the rest. All in all, it left a good impression.
So the next time I was surfing Big Basket, I searched for Raw Pressery. I found that they were selling an orange juice which was priced at two and a half times that of any OJ I could find online. This caught my attention and curiosity. Could this be that one orange juice available in the market, which didn’t taste bitter/ cough syrup like? Was that why it was priced higher? I wouldn’t mind paying more for OJ that tasted like OJ.
So I ordered it.
But I have had a lot of bad experiences with trial-and-error buying, so I kept my expectations low. And when Big Basket delivered my order, my order being a large one, I had completely forgotten that I had ordered it. Raw Pressery’s Valencia Orange looks different. It is more yellow in color than it is orange. So I started praying for this juice not to turn into a disappointment. I popped it open and took a sip.
It was Orange Juice (and nothing else).
That’s how they had tagged it. And for once, a bottled product tasted how it was meant to taste. Like cold pressed oranges. It wasn’t completely sweet, nor very sour. It was the right mixture of both, the way oranges taste. Even my wife, who hates packaged orange juices because they taste bitter and medicine-like, tried it and loved it. That says a lot, because Abhilasha is as picky about food as they come.
Ever come across a product that was so good that you went ahead and searched for the company that was producing it? Well, Raw Pressery’s Valencia Orange is. And imagine my surprise when I discovered the plethora of different exotic juices that Raw Pressery makes. I read about their history on their website and went through their catalogue of blended juices which are sold as bundles for cleanses. It is actually a great set of juice mixes and the ingredients make you curious enough to try them, even though they might seem a little pricey to some. I am yet to try other products by Raw Pressery but after having gone through their production process, I’m confident that I won’t be disappointed by them.
I give a big thumbs up to Raw Pressery for their excellent fruit juices and their innovative blended cleanse packages. And I’ll urge all of my readers to try the Valencia Orange by Raw Pressery at least once.
